Fatwa and Shari’a Supervisory Board

Sheikh Dr. Al-Ajami holds a PhD. degree with honors in Islamic Shari'a from Dar Al-Ulum College, Cairo University, Egypt (2004). He also obtained his Master’s Degree with distinction in 2001, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree with distinction from Shari’a and Islamic Studies College, Kuwait University, Kuwait (1996).
He is currently an Assistant Professor of Jurisprudence in Shari’a and Islamic Studies Collage, Kuwait University. His public service includes serving as a Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the State of Kuwait, and his intellectual contributions cover a wide variety of research papers and lectures related to Islamic finance. He is a member of Fatwa and Sharia’a control board at several Islamic financial institutions and organizations
Sheikh Dr. Al-Ajami is currently Chairman of the Fatwa and Shari’a Supervisory Board at Al Imtiaz Investment Group.

Sheikh Al-Musbah holds a master's and a bachelor's degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Wafaq UI Madaris Al Salafia, Faisalabad , Pakistan. He also holds the Teacher Diploma from Teachers Training Institute – Kuwait (1971).
He has been an Imam and Preacher at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait since 1977. His intellectual contributions include a wide variety of research, lectures and Fatwas on religious subjects. Moreover, he is the Sharia’a Board Chairperson of the Waqf Secretariat General, and he previously served as member of the Sharia’a Board of the Public Authority for Minors' Affairs and Zakat House.
Sheikh Al-Musbah is currently a member of the Fatwa and Shari'a Supervisory Board at Al Imtiaz Investment Group.

Sheikh Prof. Dr. Maarafie completed his graduate studies in the Fundamentals of Muslim Religion at Al-Azhar University (Egypt), where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in Religious Explication (1996) and his master’s degree in Interpretation (1994). He graduated with a bachelor's degree in the Fundamentals Muslim religion from Shari’a and Islamic Studies College, Kuwait University (1986).
He holds several positions, including the post of professor doctor at Shari’a and Islamic Studies College, Kuwait University. In addition, he is an Imam and Preacher at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. His intellectual contributions include a wide range of research papers, books, and lectures. He is also member of Fatwa and Shari’a Supervisory Boards.
Sheikh Prof. Maarafie is also a member of several Fatwa and Shari’a Supervisory Board at Alimtiaz Investment Group.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Otaibi studied the Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence at the Islamic University of Medina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he obtained his first and graduate degrees including Bachelor (1991), Master (1995), and PhD (2000).
He is currently Head of the Shari’a Board at Kuwait Zakat House, General Guide of Kuwait Hajj Mission, and a member of the Teaching Faculty at the Islamic Jurisprudence Department of the College of Shari’a and Islamic Studies, Kuwait University. Additionally, he is Imam and Preacher at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait. He is also a member of Fatwa and Shari’a Supervisory Boards at various Islamic financial organizations.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Otaibi is currently a member of the Fatwa and Shari'a’a Supervisory Board of Al Imtiaz Investment Group.

Sheikh Prof Al-Subaie completed his graduate studies at Dar Al Ulum College, Cairo University (Egypt), where he was awarded a PhD degree with honors (2003), and a Master’s degree with distinction in Islamic Shari’a (1998). He obtained his bachelor's degree in Islamic Jurisprudence from the College of Shari’a and Islamic Studies, Kuwait University (1994).
He was an Assistant Dean for Academic Research and Graduate Studies at the College of Shari’a and Islamic Studies, Kuwait University. He has extensively researched and lectured on Islamic economics and financing.
Sheikh Prof. Al-Subaie is currently an executive member of the Fatwa and Shari'a’a Supervisory Board of Al Imtiaz Investment Group.
